From March 29 to 31, 2023, 5th grade students of Khai Minh Primary School in District 1 participated in the educational program “Discovering Heritage” with the theme “Unification of the Nation” at the Independence Palace. Each 90-minute session includes activities such as painting and solving questions related to the historical events of April 30, 1975. They’ve also had the chance to observe and learn about the two tank artifacts, 390 and 843, at the Independence Palace’s left grassland with the help of our enthusiastic guides. Upon finishing the program, the students had a better understanding of history, grasped the concept of working independently and working with a team, therefore further increasing their communication skills, and also acquired the skills of analyzing and solving problems.

The Unification Hall looks forward to continuing to accompany schools and teachers to organize useful extra-curricular educational activities at the Independence Palace, helping students have the opportunity to access and understand more about the cultural and art values of the Independence Palace Historical Monument, as well as acquiring more knowledge of the country’s history.
