On March 7, 2023, during their trip to Ho Chi Minh City, a high-ranking delegation of Houaphan province (Laos) led by Mr. Vanxay Phengsumma, member of the Party Central Committee, Houaphan Province governor, had a visit at the Independence Palace. Vietnam Historical Monument: The Independence Palace – Unification Hall is honored to be a meeting place of the Government activites: a place marking peace, cooperation and friendship; a place to receive high-ranking delegations to perform diplomatic ceremonies of the southern region.
