On the morning of January 13th, 2023, at the Unification Hall, Mr. Phan Van Mai, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee greeted President of the National Congress of Korea Kim Jin Pyo and high-ranking members of the Korean National Congress during his official visit to Vietnam in respond to the invitation of Viet Nam National Congress President Vuong Dinh Hue. This is the first time a Korean senior leader visits Vietnam after the two countries upgraded their relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in December 2022.
The Unification Hall is honored to be a destination attracting thousands of visitors every day, as well as a meeting place of the Government activites: a place marking peace, cooperation and friendship; a place to receive high-ranking delegations to perform diplomatic ceremonies of the southern region.
